This role focuses on the precise assembly of fiber cable components using detailed work instructions and blueprints in a clean room environment. You will measure, cut, and assemble small parts, route fine wires through connectors in a specific sequence, apply epoxy coatings, and support curing, polishing, and testing processes to ensure high-quality, reliable connections.
You will join a newly created, fast-growing division where the current team is small and early hires have significant opportunities to grow quickly into leadership, supervisory, quality, and other advanced roles. The organization focuses on the overall wellbeing of employees and their families, offering comprehensive benefits that support physical, financial, and emotional health. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement plans, paid vacation and time off, educational assistance, and may also include infertility assistance, paid parental leave, and adoption assistance, subject to plan eligibility and regional variations. The company values flexibility and strives to create a work environment that supports individual needs while enabling strong business results, helping you balance work and personal responsibilities effectively.
This position is based in a newly renovated facility that continues to receive upgrades and improvements, reflecting ongoing investment in the workplace. You will be part of a new division that is just starting up and expected to grow rapidly, with plans to expand to nearly 100 people within the next 69 months. The environment has a start-up feel, where early processes may seem unorganized at times, and team members are encouraged to be patient, learn evolving procedures, and actively contribute suggestions to make operations smoother, quicker, and better. Work takes place in a clean room environment that does not require full clean room attire. There are no specific restrictions on clothing, jewelry, or perfumes, and a business casual appearance is appropriate. Assemblers wear a smock over their clothing as the primary requirement. Gloves and safety glasses are available if you choose to use them, although the current assemblies do not require this personal protective equipment. The role follows a 1st shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Fridays used for overtime if needed, providing a predictable workweek with potential for additional hours.
